Consumer Advantage Research Service is a full service personal vehicle
consulting business. If you need a new or pre-owned car or truck but are
uncertain about what to buy, don't have the time to shop, or just don't like
shopping for a car, I can help. My only client is the consumer, not a
manufacturer or dealership.
If you don't already know what you want, I have a questionnaire we can use to
determine your preferences and identify specific makes and models within your
price range for you to consider. I will then do the research and analysis on those
you have selected. You decide what you want to look at without leaving your home
or office and, most importantly, without any sales pressure. Once we determine which
ones seem to best meet your needs, I will locate some for us to look at. If necessary,
I will look out of town, even out of state.
Once I have located a car or cars that I think you would like, you and I will arrange a time to look at and drive one or more of the specifically selected vehicles. I will accompany you on the test drive(s) and then help you evaluate each one until you find one you want. I will be there with you to be sure you are given information about the full cost of the car, including any options you have selected. I can also help you determine whether purchasing any warranty the dealer might offer is a good decision for you. Next, I will help get a fair price for your current vehicle, whether you choose to trade it in or sell it yourself.
Financing your purchase is a separate transaction. I can also help you compare choices such as lower financing vs. a dealer rebate or the pros and cons of dealer financing.
